Terms of service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern use of the Tocamoufy website and the Tocamoufy processing service (together, the "service"), operated by Tocamoufy ("we", "us"). By using the service, you agree to them. If you're using it on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
What the service is
Tocamoufy accepts a source recording you upload and generates derivative drafts from it — vertical clips, a written summary, pull-quote graphics, a thread outline, show notes, and chapter markers — which you review, edit, and export manually. The service does not publish, post, or distribute anything on your behalf, and does not connect to any social media or hosting account.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your login credentials to yourself; tell us promptly at hello@tocamoufy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload and everything Tocamoufy generates from it. By uploading a file, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service to you — nothing broader. You're responsible for having the rights necessary to upload and process the content you submit, including any recordings that include other people.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to process content you don't have the rights to, content that's illegal to possess or distribute, or content intended to harass, defraud, or impersonate someone without their consent. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the technical limits of the service. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, based on the plan you select at signup. Processing volume that exceeds a plan's monthly allotment is billed per hour of source recording processed, at the rate shown on the pricing page at the time. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Availability
We aim to keep the service reliably available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unplanned downtime can happen. We'll try to give notice for anything that's likely to be disruptive.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as-is. Automated clip selection, captioning, and summarization are mechanical processes and can make mistakes — review every output before you rely on or publish it. To the extent permitted by law, Tocamoufy isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or the acceptable use section above. On termination, the retention and deletion terms in our privacy policy apply to any remaining content.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tocamoufy is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
